Referral programme terms

These terms govern the Rampy referral programme operated by Rampy Technologies, Inc.. They apply in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. The offer

A Rampy customer who refers a new customer may receive 5.00 USD in Rampy transaction credit, and the referred customer may receive 5.00 USD, once the referred customer completes a qualifying transaction of at least 100 in the currency they send.

2. What the credit is

Rampy transaction credit is applied against the Rampy fee on a future eligible transaction. It is not cash, it cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged, and it has no value except as a reduction of a Rampy fee.

3. Qualifying transaction

A qualifying transaction is a buy or sell order placed by the referred customer that reaches a completed state at our payment partner and is not cancelled, failed, refunded, reversed, or blocked for compliance reasons.

4. Eligibility

To be referred you must be new to Rampy, open your account through a referral link or code, and complete identity verification. To refer, you must hold an account in good standing. Rewards are not paid on an account that is suspended, or one we are unable to verify. The programme may be withdrawn, suspended or varied at any time, is not available where it would be unlawful, and may be unavailable in particular countries.

5. One referrer, one reward

A customer may be referred by only one referrer, decided at signup and not changeable afterwards. Each referred customer can generate at most one reward for their referrer.

6. Abuse

Self-referral and multiple accounts controlled by the same person do not qualify. We may hold, withhold or reverse a reward where we reasonably believe the programme is being abused, and may close the account of anyone who does so.

7. Expiry

Credit expires 180 days after it is issued if it has not been used. We will tell you before credit you hold expires. If we end the programme, credit that has not been used by the date we give can no longer be applied.

8. Reversal

If the qualifying transaction is later reversed or refunded, the reward is reversed. Credit already applied to a completed transaction is not clawed back.

9. Tax

Rampy credit reduces a fee you would otherwise pay; it is not a payment to you and no money changes hands. How that is treated where you live is your responsibility, and we do not give tax advice. If you are unsure, take your own.
