Terms of Service
Last updated 7 October 2026
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Rampy Technologies, Inc. (“Rampy.money”, “we”, “us”), registered at 2810 North Church Street, Wilmington, DE 19802, United States. By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
1. What Rampy is, and what it is not
Rampy is a software interface that lets you buy, sell and convert stablecoins using regulated third-party providers. We want to be precise about our role:
- We do not take custody of your fiat money or your digital assets.
- We do not hold your private keys. Assets settle to a wallet you control.
- We do not operate payment systems or bank accounts ourselves.
- We are not a bank, a broker, an exchange, or an investment adviser, and we give no investment, tax or legal advice.
Payments, conversion, custody of fiat during settlement, and identity verification are performed by our partners, principally Bridge. Which Bridge entity you contract with depends on where you are: Bridge Building Inc (NMLS #2450917) for US residents,Bridge Building S.A. (RCS Luxembourg B298785) in the EEA, andBridge Building Limited elsewhere, including the United Kingdom. When you transact you also enter into a relationship with that provider and are bound by its terms.
2. Eligibility
To use Rampy you must:
- be at least 18 years old and have capacity to enter a contract;
- use the service on your own behalf, not for an undisclosed third party;
- not be resident in, or acting for anyone in, a jurisdiction we do not serve; and
- not appear on any applicable sanctions list, and not be acting for anyone who does.
We may refuse, suspend or close an account at our discretion, including where we are required to by law or by a partner. Availability varies by country and may change without notice.
3. Verification
You must complete identity verification (KYC), and business verification (KYB) where relevant, before you can transact. Verification is carried out by our regulated partners; we receive only the outcome and the status, not your identity documents. You agree that the information you provide is true, current and complete, and you will update it when it changes. See our AML & KYC Policy.
Accounts are either personal or business, and the difference is not cosmetic. A personal account is verified against your own identity. A business account is verified against the company: you will be asked for its incorporation details and for information about the people who ultimately own it, and the result is reviewed by a person rather than automatically. Business accounts must be opened with an email address at the company's own domain; addresses at consumer mail providers are not accepted for a business account. You must not open a business account for a company you are not authorised to act for, and you must not use a personal account to transact for a business.
4. Transactions
Rampy offers four things: buying stablecoins with money from your bank, selling them back to your bank, swapping between stablecoins or networks, and a deposit account — permanent bank details that convert whatever is paid into them.
For a buy, sell or swap we show you the amount, our fee and the estimated amount you will receive before you confirm. Once you confirm, we create an instruction with our partner and give you deposit instructions.
- Deposits must match the instructions exactly. Fiat deposits must include the reference we give you; crypto deposits must come from the address you specified, on the stated network, and include any required memo. Deposits that do not match may be delayed, returned, or in some cases irrecoverable.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible. We cannot reverse, recall or cancel a transaction once it is confirmed on-chain.
- Wrong addresses and networks lose funds. You are solely responsible for the destination address and network you enter. Assets sent to an incorrect or unsupported address are generally unrecoverable, including by us.
- Minimums apply. Orders start at 100 in the currency you send. Individual assets and rails carry their own minimums, applied to the amount remaining after fees, and amounts sent below a network minimum may not be credited or returned.
- An order that has not yet received funds can be cancelled from the transaction page. Once funds are received it cannot.
Deposit accounts
A deposit account works differently from an order and you should understand how before you use one.
- It converts anything sent to it. There is no order, no agreed amount and nothing to cancel. If you pay into it twice, both payments convert.
- The destination is fixed when you create it. Every deposit is converted and delivered to the wallet address recorded on that account until you change or deactivate it.
- The 100 minimum is a request, not a limit. Smaller deposits are still converted, but network and exchange costs make them poor value, and we cannot refuse or return money that has already arrived.
- Turning one off returns future deposits to the sender. Anything already in progress when you turn it off completes as normal.
- An account with no payments closes. If nothing has been paid into a deposit account for 60 days, we close it, after telling you by email at least 14 days before. Any payment in keeps it open, and an account with an unpaid invoice stays open. You can reopen a closed account at any time, with the same bank details.
Quoted rates and timings are estimates. Settlement times depend on banks and blockchains and are outside our control.
5. Fees
Our fee depends on what you are doing, because the underlying costs differ:
- Buying and selling: 1.99% of the amount you send, falling to 0.99% on amounts at or above the threshold for that currency, plus a flat amount in every case. The flat amount and the threshold are both charged and measured in the currency you send, and therefore differ by currency: USD 1.99 flat, 0.99% from 500; EUR 1.99 flat, 0.99% from 500; GBP 1.99 flat, 0.99% from 500; BRL 10 flat, 0.99% from 2,500; MXN 40 flat, 0.99% from 10,000. The exact figure is shown on the order preview before you confirm.
- Deposit accounts: 1.99% of each deposit, with no flat fee. No amount is agreed in advance, so no flat fee can be applied.
- Swaps: 0.5% of the amount, with no flat fee, charged in the stablecoin you send.
For a buy, sell or swap the fee is displayed before you confirm and deducted from the amount converted. For a deposit account the percentage is applied to each deposit as it arrives, and appears on the record of that deposit. Network (gas) fees, exchange fees charged by partners, and fees your own bank charges are separate and may apply. We may change our fees; changes apply to transactions created after the change, and to deposits received after it.
6. Your responsibilities
- Keep your account credentials and your wallet keys secure. We cannot recover a lost private key or seed phrase.
- Do not use Rampy for unlawful purposes, including money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, or the proceeds of crime.
- Do not attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- You are responsible for determining what taxes apply to you and for reporting and paying them.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, and freeze or return a pending transaction, where we reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms, fraud or financial crime, where a partner instructs us to, or where we are required to by law. Where we are legally permitted to tell you why, we will. You may stop using the service at any time.
8. Risk
Digital assets carry significant risk, including total loss. Stablecoins may lose their peg. Please read the Risk Disclosure, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from: blockchain or network failure, your own error in entering an address or amount, the acts or omissions of a third-party provider, or price movements in digital assets.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability is not excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the three months before the event and the amount of the affected transaction.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version here and change the date above. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the courts of the State of Delaware, United States have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
