Rampy vs Deel

Deel is a contractor platform: your client signs you up, Deel handles the contract and the invoice, and you withdraw what you are paid. Rampy is the other side of that arrangement: bank details you give any client, converting what they pay into stablecoins you control. One is chosen by the client; the other is yours whatever the client uses.

We make Rampy, so read this knowing that. Rampy's figures are read from the code that charges them. Deel's are what its public pages said on 2 November 2026; they change, so check them before deciding, and tell us at support@rampy.money if one is wrong.

In one line each

Rampy

For contractors whose clients pay by bank transfer, who want the money as stablecoins in their own wallet.

Deel

For contractors whose client runs them through Deel, who want contracts and compliance handled and several ways to withdraw.

Side by side

  • Who pays for it

    Rampy

You, per payment: 1.99% of what arrives, nothing else.

    Deel

The client pays a monthly fee per contractor; you pay withdrawal fees.

  • Getting paid in stablecoins

    Rampy

1.99% of each payment, no flat fee, no monthly charge. Bank details in your own name in USD and EUR.

    Deel

Withdraw USDC or USDT to your own wallet at 2% plus about $1, or through Coinbase at 1.6% (a $5 flat fee under $300).

  • Getting cash to your bank

    Rampy

1.99% + 1.99 below 500, then 0.99% + 1.99 from 500, in the stablecoin you send. Pays out to USD, EUR and GBP bank accounts; BRL, MXN and COP coming soon. A US wire carries our partner's $10 on top.

    Deel

Bank withdrawals priced by country and method; Wise, Payoneer, PayPal and a card are also offered.

  • Contracts and compliance paperwork

    Rampy

None. Rampy is a payment method, not an employer-of-record or contractor platform.

    Deel

Contracts, invoices, tax forms and compliance are the product.

  • Works with any client

    Rampy

Yes. Any client that can make a bank transfer can pay your details, with nothing to sign up to.

    Deel

    Only clients who use Deel.

  • Who holds the money

    Rampy

Non-custodial. Money goes from the payer, through our regulated partner, to a wallet you hold the keys to. There is no Rampy balance.

    Deel

Deel, as a balance, until you withdraw.

  • Verification

    Rampy

Identity verification with our regulated partner before the first order, usually a few minutes. Business accounts verify the company and its owners.

    Deel

Identity verification with Deel, started by your client's invitation.

Where Deel is the better choice

  • Your client already uses Deel

Then Deel is not a choice but the channel, and its contracts, invoices and tax forms are genuinely useful. Rampy only enters when you withdraw.

  • You want paperwork done for you

Rampy produces an invoice with your bank details on it and nothing more. Deel handles the legal relationship.

Where Rampy is the better choice

  • Your clients pay by bank transfer

Give them USD or EUR details in your name and USDC or EURC arrives in your wallet. No client has to join anything.

  • You withdraw to stablecoins anyway

Deel's crypto withdrawal is 2% plus a network fee. A client paying Rampy details directly costs 1.99%, and selling stablecoins to your bank later is 1.99% + 1.99 below 500, then 0.99% + 1.99 from 500.

  • You want the money in your own hands immediately

A payment converts on arrival into a wallet you hold the keys to. Nothing waits in a platform balance.

Using both

If a client runs you through Deel, withdraw from Deel to your bank and pay from there into your Rampy details, or use Deel's USDC withdrawal straight to your Rampy wallet address. For clients outside Deel, give them your Rampy details directly.

Common questions

Is Rampy custodial?

No. Stablecoins are sent to a wallet address you control, and money is paid out to the bank account you choose — yours, or somebody you are paying. Rampy is designed so that customer assets are not held by Rampy.

What fees does Rampy charge?

A buy or a sell is 1.99% + 1.99 below 500, then 0.99% + 1.99 from 500 of the amount you send — pounds on a buy, the stablecoin on a sell. A swap is 0.5% of the amount, with no flat fee. A deposit account or an auto-convert address is 1.99% with no flat fee, which is cheaper than an order below about 500 and dearer above it. The pricing page shows the figures by amount.

Which countries are supported?

Availability varies by country, by product and by payment method, and is decided by our payments partner during verification rather than by us. The rails we run and the countries each one banks in are listed on the availability page. If a rail is not available to you, the app will not offer it.

Can Deel pay my Rampy wallet directly?

Deel's USDC withdrawal sends to a wallet address you give it. Your Rampy wallet address works, on a network both support; check the network on both sides before the first withdrawal, and send a small amount first.

Try it with a small payment

Verification takes a few minutes and opens your bank details. Pay yourself a small amount from your own bank and watch it arrive as stablecoins. Nothing to subscribe to.
