Getting paid out
Convert stablecoins to your bank automatically
A permanent address of your own on the network you use. Anything sent to it is converted and paid into your bank account, with no order to place and nothing to confirm. It is the mirror of a deposit account: that one takes a bank transfer and gives you stablecoins, this one takes stablecoins and gives you money in the bank.
You will need a linked bank account first — yours, or the one you want it to pay.
How it works
- 1
Link the bank account first
The address is tied to one bank account, so that account has to exist before the address does. Your own must be in the name you are verified under; somebody else's can be used once it has been linked for a week.
- 2
Create the address
You pick the network and the stablecoin. We give you a permanent address that belongs to that bank account.
- 3
Send whenever you like
From your own wallet, from an exchange withdrawal, from anywhere on that network. There is no amount agreed in advance and no order behind it.
- 4
It arrives as money
Converted on arrival and paid out on whichever rail your bank account uses. These carry the percentage only — 1.99% — with no flat fee per payout. That is cheaper than a one-off sell for payments under about 500, and dearer above it.
Who this is for
Anyone paid in stablecoins who spends in currency
Salary or invoices arrive as coins and leave as money in your account, without you doing anything each time.
Businesses with stablecoin revenue
Costs are in fiat. Point revenue at an address and the conversion stops being a monthly task somebody has to remember.
Anyone tired of placing the same sale
One address replaces the order you were going to place every time. It saves the effort every time, and money on payments under about 500.
What it runs on
Read from the same tables the app routes payments with, so this list cannot describe something an order would be refused for.
- USDACH, Wire
- EURSEPA
- GBPFaster Payments
- BRLPix
- MXNSPEI
- USDCEthereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche C-Chain, Solana, Stellar
- USDTEthereum, Solana, Tron
- EURCEthereum, Base, Solana, Stellar
- PYUSDEthereum, Solana
Orders are 1.99% + 1.99 below 500, then 0.99% + 1.99 from 500. A deposit account is 1.99% of what arrives with no flat fee, and we ask you to keep deposits at 100 or above.
Unlike a deposit account, an auto-convert address cannot be deactivated once created, and the bank account it pays into cannot be removed while it exists. You can point it at a different account of yours at any time, which is the thing that rescues one whose bank account has closed.
Common questions
Is Rampy custodial?
No. Stablecoins are sent to a wallet address you control, and money is paid out to the bank account you choose — yours, or somebody you are paying. Rampy is designed so that customer assets are not held by Rampy.
How does Sell work?
You choose an amount and the bank account to be paid, then send the stablecoins to the deposit address we show. Who can be paid: Your own account, in the name you are verified under, or somebody else's — a person or a business you are paying. For somebody else's, you give their name and address when you add the account, and each payment to them has a limit, lower while the account is new; the app shows it before you pay. In the UK and the euro area the receiving bank also checks the holder's name against its own records, so give it exactly as the bank has it.
What fees does Rampy charge?
A buy or a sell is 1.99% + 1.99 below 500, then 0.99% + 1.99 from 500 of the amount you send — pounds on a buy, the stablecoin on a sell. A swap is 0.5% of the amount, with no flat fee. A deposit account or an auto-convert address is 1.99% with no flat fee, which is cheaper than an order below about 500 and dearer above it. The pricing page shows the figures by amount.
Which currencies are supported?
Payouts go to USD, EUR, GBP, BRL and MXN. Deposit accounts take USD, EUR and GBP, and one-off buys are open in GBP; reais and pesos are payout-only. Which you can use also depends on the country your account is verified in.
How is this different from a deposit account?
Opposite directions. A deposit account is bank details that turn incoming money into stablecoins. An auto-convert address is a crypto address that turns incoming stablecoins into money in your bank.
Is it cheaper than selling?
Below about 500 a payment, yes; above it, no. An address carries the percentage alone, 1.99%, because no amount is agreed in advance to charge a flat fee against. A one-off sell is 1.99% + 1.99 below 500, then 0.99% + 1.99 from 500. So 200 costs 3.98 by address and 5.97 as a sell, and 1,000 costs 19.90 by address and 11.89 as a sell. The address is for not having to place the order; the pricing page shows both by amount.
What happens if the coins cannot be converted?
They are returned to the wallet they came from, on the chain they arrived on. We never hold them, and there is no Rampy address in the middle for a return to land in.
