Your Client Paid You in USDC: How to Get It Into Your Bank the Same Day
Share your wallet and sell when a payment lands, or give a regular client an address that converts every payment and pays your bank automatically.

More clients pay in USDC now, especially across borders: it arrives in minutes, any day, without a correspondent bank in the middle. The question is how to get it from there into the account your rent comes out of. There are two ways, and which suits you depends on how often the client pays.
One payment at a time
- Give your client your Rampy wallet address and the network, from the Wallet page.
- When the payment lands, open Sell, choose the amount and your bank account.
- Check the preview and confirm. Our fee is 1.99% + 1.99 below 500, then 0.99% + 1.99 from 500 per sell, shown before you commit.
Good for an occasional payment, or when you want to choose the moment you convert.
Every payment, automatically
An auto-convert address is a permanent crypto address tied to one of your bank accounts. Anything your client sends to it is converted on arrival and paid into that account, with no order to place. It costs 1.99% of each payment, with no flat fee. Create one under Get paid, choose the coin, the network and the bank account, and send the address to your client.

- It accepts only the coins and networks shown on it. Anything else sent to it can be lost, so tell your client exactly which.
- It cannot be switched off, but you can point it at another of your bank accounts at any time.
- Add a payout reference, such as the client's name, so each payment is easy to find on your statement.
Will it arrive the same day?
Once our partner has the USDC, it depends on the payment rail your bank uses:
| Paid in | Rail | Usually arrives |
|---|---|---|
| GBP | Faster Payments | Within minutes |
| EUR | SEPA | Same or next business day |
| USD | Wire | Same day |
| USD | ACH | 1 to 3 business days |
| BRL | Pix | Seconds, any day |
| MXN | SPEI | Seconds, around the clock |
What to tell your client
- The address and the network, in writing. A payment on the wrong network may not be recoverable.
- Ask for a small test payment the first time.
- Which invoice or month each payment is for, so your records match your statement.
Give clients an address that pays your bank automatically.

Which is cheaper?
It depends on the size of each payment. A one-off sell costs 1.99% + 1.99 below 500, then 0.99% + 1.99 from 500; an auto-convert address costs 1.99% of each payment with no flat fee. Both show the figure before any money moves.
Can the address pay somebody else's bank account?
Yes, once that account has been linked for a while. Until then it pays your own accounts, and one-off sells to the other account work straight away.
What if my client sends USDT instead?
Only send coins the address shows. For a one-off payment to your wallet, USDT on a network Rampy supports can be sold the same way.
Do I need a business account?
No. A personal account works for freelancers; a company can open a business account with a team and approvals.
