UK Businesses: Permanent GBP Bank Details on Your Invoices, Received as USDC
Your clients pay a UK sort code and account number by Faster Payments, usually within minutes. You receive USDC. Read the one rule about who can pay first.

If your company pays contractors, suppliers or itself in USDC, every client payment in pounds is a conversion waiting to happen. A GBP deposit account does it as the money lands: a sort code and account number you put on your invoices, paid by Faster Payments, delivered to your company's wallet as USDC.
How it works
- Verify the company once, then open GBP bank details on Get paid.
- Choose USDC and the network, for example Base or Solana, and the wallet it goes to.
- Put the sort code and account number on your invoices. Clients pay by Faster Payments, usually within minutes.
- Each payment converts from pounds to USDC at the day's rate, plus 1.99%, and arrives in the wallet with an email.
The one rule to know before you invoice
That makes GBP details right for business-to-business invoices and wrong for collecting from consumers. If individuals pay you, ask them to pay in stablecoins instead: Get paid also gives you a crypto address that converts to your bank, or they can send USDC straight to your wallet.
| Paying from | Accepted? |
|---|---|
| A registered business | Yes, with no limit |
| Your company's own bank account | Yes, unlimited |
| A private person's account | No, it is likely to be returned |
What it costs
1.99% of each payment, no fixed fee and no monthly charge: £99.50 on a £5,000 invoice. Keep each payment at 100 GBP or more. Payments over £1,000,000 move by BACS and take three business days.
Useful with it
- A pay link, from Get paid, gives a client the details and tells them which account to pay from, in their own words.
- Paying several people at once in pounds, euros, dollars, reais or pesos is one screen: Sell, then Pay several.
- Your team can each have their own sign-in, with orders above an amount you set needing your approval.

Open GBP bank detailsFrequently asked
Whose name are the details in?
Your company's verified name, so they look like any business account on a client's payment screen.
Can I get paid in pounds and keep pounds?
Not as stablecoins: GBP details deliver USDC. If you want pounds, sell the USDC back to a UK bank account by Faster Payments.
Can customers in the EU open GBP details?
No. GBP deposit accounts are not available to customers verified in the EU or EEA.
What if a client pays the same invoice twice?
Both payments convert. There is no order to cancel, so a refund is a new payment back to the client.
