Get Paid From the US Without a US Bank Account: USD and EUR Bank Details in Your Name
A US client wants a routing number and an account number. You do not need a US bank to give them one. Here is how it works, who it is for, and the rules on who may pay.

You do not need to open a US bank account to be paid like a US supplier. A Rampy deposit account gives you USD bank details in your own name: an account holder name, a routing number and an account number. Your client pays them by ACH or wire, the way they pay anyone in America. Each payment converts to USDC and lands in your wallet. EUR details work the same way for clients who pay by SEPA. The fee is 1.99% of each deposit, with no flat fee.
Whether you can open them depends on where you live and on verification. That part is below, and it is worth reading before anything else.
Why a US client wants US details
Ask a US company to pay a foreign bank and the invoice goes to someone in finance who has to set up an international wire. They need a SWIFT code, they may pay a fee, and intermediary banks can take a cut on the way. Some will simply ask you to find another way. A routing number and an account number is the payment they make every day. It is the difference between an invoice that gets paid this week and one that sits in a queue.
What you get
| USD details | EUR details | |
|---|---|---|
| What your client sees | Account holder name, routing number, account number | Account holder name, IBAN, BIC |
| How they pay | ACH, usually 1 to 3 business days, or wire, usually the same day | SEPA, usually the same or the next business day |
| What you receive | USDC, or USDT and PYUSD on some networks | EURC to stay in euros, or USDC |
| Where it goes | Your Rampy wallet, or a wallet app you have linked | Your Rampy wallet, or a wallet app you have linked |
The details are permanent, so they can go on every invoice. There is no order to place. Whatever arrives converts, and you get an email each time. Rampy never holds the money or your wallet's keys: each payment passes through our regulated banking partner and arrives in a wallet only you control.
Who can open them
Individuals and businesses can both open USD and EUR deposit accounts once verified. A business's details carry the company's verified name. What decides whether you can open one is the country you are verified in, and our banking partner decides that during verification, not us.
- It depends on your country and on verification. We do not publish a list of approved countries, because our partner decides per customer and its rules can change.
- Some countries are not served at all, mostly because of sanctions. The full list is on our Where Rampy works page, and the app checks where you live before you upload any ID.
- In some countries our partner adds extra checks, such as proof of address or where your money comes from. Expect that to take a little longer.
- In the United States, New York residents are not served: our partner cannot onboard anyone whose main home or operating address is there.
- EUR details are opened through the euro-area rail, and whether you can open them depends on your verification.
Verification is free and gives you a definite answer. Most new accounts get their bank details straight away; some are looked at by a person first, usually within one business day.
Who can pay in
This is the part people skip, and it is the part that costs a week. The rules come from our banking partner and differ by currency:
| Paying from | USD | EUR |
|---|---|---|
| Your own account | Yes, unlimited, including a fintech app or brokerage account | Yes, unlimited |
| A registered business, including payroll | Yes. Larger payments can be held for review and returned if they cannot be verified | Yes, with no limit |
| Another person's personal account | Under $4,000 per payment. A family member who shares your surname may send any amount. Not accepted from New York or Texas | Not enabled by default. Write to us first |
For business invoices, both currencies work. If private people pay you, USD under $4,000 is the only one that accepts them by default. Anyone who cannot pay your bank details can send stablecoins to your wallet instead.
What it costs
| Invoice | Rampy's fee |
|---|---|
| 1,000 | 19.90 |
| 2,500 | 49.75 |
| 5,000 | 99.50 |
That is 1.99% of each deposit, in the currency paid in, with no flat fee. There is no charge to open the details and no monthly fee. We suggest payments of 100 or more; smaller ones still convert, but cost proportionally more. Under 2 USD or 2 EUR, nothing converts: our partner holds a payment below its minimum until later payments take the total over it. Your client's own bank may charge them for a wire.
Getting cash out
You can keep the stablecoins, pay someone with them, or sell them to a bank account in your own name. Rampy pays out to USD, EUR and GBP bank accounts. Selling costs 1.99% + 1.99 below 500, then 0.99% + 1.99 from 500, shown before you confirm. Before your first sell, the app asks you to back up your wallet.
Before you rely on it
- There is no order to cancel. If a client pays an invoice twice, it converts twice, and a refund is a new payment back to them.
- For the first 7 days, a new account can bring in up to $2,000 in total.
- Details with no payment for 60 days close, after an email at least 14 days before. Reopening keeps the same details.
- Stablecoins are not a bank deposit. They are not covered by deposit insurance, and Rampy pays no interest on them.

Do I need a US company or a US address?
No. You verify with Rampy and the details are issued to you through our banking partner. Whether they are available to you depends on the country you are verified in.
Whose name is on the details?
Your verified name, or your company's for a business account, so they look like any supplier's details on your client's payment screen.
Can a client outside the US pay my USD details?
The details take US payments by ACH and wire. A client outside the US is better paying your EUR details by SEPA, if they are in the euro area, or sending stablecoins to your wallet.
What does it cost to receive a payment?
1.99% of each deposit, with no flat fee and no monthly charge. On a 2,000 invoice that is 39.80.
